The 17th Ohio Intrastate Matches has held at the end of September and was hosted by the Northern Ohio Golf Association at Shady Hollow Country Club in Massillon.

Each team was comprised of 12 players, 8 amateurs and 4 seniors, with 10 of the 12 scores counting for the overall team total. The team from Greater Cincinnati Golf Association found themselves on top of the five-team field.

Micah Dean, from Greater Cincinnati, recorded the lowest score of the day, a cool three-under-par 69.

The Ohio Intrastate Matches began in 1999, with the inaugural event hosted by the Columbus District Golf Association at the Medallion Club. The Intrastate brings Ohio’s best male players together in a spirited team competition.

Columbus has won the event eight times followed by Miami Valley with five. Both Northern Ohio and Greater Cincinnati have two wins each.

The Toledo District will host the nest Intrastate Team Match in 2019.
